Is SBOJ a recruitment marketplace for recruiters to compete at low cost?

No - think of SBOJ as like Rightmove for housing -- we aggregate candidate data from recruiters and make it searchable by employers. For the first time 'ownership' of a candidate can be clearly conferred to a specific recruiter and furthermore, candidate ownership is transferrable rather than just 'first come, first served.' Recruiters still manage the entire recruitment process.

Furthermore, SBOJ considers all a recruiter's previous dealings with a candidate and/or employer and controls introductions in a fair and transparent process, so you never lose a deal that you have worked hard for.

We also provide you with a recruiter CRM / candidate ATS that you can use for free AND you can use this independently of SBOJ -- should you wish to deal with your own clients without adding specific candidates to the SBOJ platform. We even offer the ability for you to integrate your current vacancy listings with your own website. This could lower your current recruiting tech. spend considerably.

Unlike a recruitment marketplace, there are no humans involved -- the data you add is aggregated and processed algorithmically using AI. The primary aim of SBOJ is to help employers use any agency they wish at guaranteed, but reasonable, market rates without the need to resort to a PSL and give recruiters access to employer vacancies without the need for endless business development.

SBOJ is a 24/7 global marketing tool for your candidates -- the equivalent for recruiters of a site on the internet rather than a shop on the high street. For the first time, employers can search your candidate pool in real time and contact you to arrange interviews with them. These might be employers you do not even know of -- we want recruiters to make more placements!

Are the details we upload confidential?

SBOJ does not ask for or store a great deal of candidate personal data, only that which our AI uses in candidate matching. We will never contact any of the candidates you add.

Furthermore, unlike any other platform we know of, when searching employers view anonymised candidate profiles until the recruiter involved agrees to an interview after seeking candidate consent. In this manner, SBOJ offers market leading confidentiality to you and the candidates you represent.

You can also prevent candidate data you share from being searchable by third parties (screened employers only) if you wish, but if you do so, SBOJ is unable to confer candidate 'ownership' to a specific recruiter and if other recruiters upload the same data, then you may miss out on potential placements.

We host SBOJ using state-of-the-art comprehensively hardened infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platforms from Google Cloud.

What if my candidate's current employer browses their profile?

SBOJ has a 'block' function that, if completed correctly by their recruiter, will comprehensively prevent their current employer (or any other blocked employer chosen) from viewing candidate data.

Is SBOJ GDPR compliant?

Yes -- by using SBOJ you agree that you have your candidate's consent to add their details to the platform. Remember that in any case, the data you share is anonymised until you agree for your candidate to attend an interview.

If you choose not to share anonymised candidate data with third parties but only with a specific employer, this data will be deleted after 6 months in line with our standard GDPR protection procedures.

What does it cost me to use SBOJ?

SBOJ charges recruiters nothing to access the platform or to use our recruiter CRM and candidate ATS software. If you make a successful placement using SBOJ, we levy a % fee in line with what you might pay for a candidate referral.
